Absolutely loved our dinner last night at Pasargad ❤️! We have been checking out local Persian restaurants and have always went passed this place but decided to try it and we are so GLAD we did. We decided to start with the hummus and zeitoon parvardeh (green olives + walnuts/pomegranate paste, etc) and they were absolutely delicious, especially when combined with the hummus + pita it elevated the flavor. I am so glad our server recommended these over the regular green olives.

For dinner we all got Joujeh kebab (chicken breast), I know its not the most adventurous but the chicken was cooked to perfection, very moist, well seasoned and beautiful bbq smokeyness 😙👌🏻. The serving sizes were massive, so prepare to take some home! Also the food was fresh fresh fresh! Right off the grill. The rice was fantastic, perfect grains, wonderful buttery mouth feel which I can never replicate at home for some reason.

Service was excellent, very attentive, no hovering and all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

It's my first time to try this food which is introduced by a new friend from Iran. He ordered one box of beef and one box of chicken mixed beef for me last Friday (2 days ago). It tastes so good. Although our friendship couldn't last a bit longer at all, I enjoy this meal so much. It would be always in my mind. Thanks my dear friend who let me try something I have never tried before. Although this was our 1st and last meal together, I would like to visit this restaurant in future to explore some more food from this country.

As today is my dear friend's official birthday, I come to visit this restaurant.
I order the beef with the rice (Kobeden) and the soup (Ash Reshteh). They are so delicious. I enjoy the decoration, the music and the environment of this restaurant. Let me beging by saying, this place does not cease to amaze EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! . I am from Kelowna and come to Lower Mainland every now and then and we always make sure that we stop here for the food. It's simply divine. We are foodies and this is probably in our top 5 in the region. The meat melts in your mouth, the falvour lingers on and makes you want more. Authentic! Persian food at its finest. We had such a wonderful experience at Pasargad Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Persian flavors. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and beautifully served. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and we truly felt at home. Definitely one of the best Persian restaurants we’ve been to. Pasargad Restaurant is an authentic Persian and Iranian restaurant located in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

The restaurant specializes in traditional Iranian cuisine, featuring fresh ingredients, classic starters, and grilled skewered meats. My favourite classic is the Koobideh.

Popular Dishes:
Kabab-e Darbari (a combination of Koobideh and Shishlik Shandiz), Joojeh Kabab (grilled saffron chicken), Kashk-o-Bademjoon (roasted eggplant dip), and various saffron and barberry rice specialties.

Price ranges are typically $20 to $30 per person for main dishes.

Our family visiting from Japan came to try Persian food, and we had a wonderful experience at Pasargad! The food was delicious, fresh, clean, and very affordable. The portions were generous, especially the rice!

We had our server, Pajard, who was very approachable and welcoming. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay, asked how we liked the food, and always had a lovely smile. Her friendly service made our experience even better.

The atmosphere inside was also great—bright, comfortable, and welcoming, with lots of natural light coming in from outside. Within an hour of us sitting down, another three tables were occupied, which says a lot about how popular the restaurant is.

I also want to mention the gentleman I spoke with on the phone yesterday to make our reservation. He was very courteous, helpful, and professional.

I was visiting Vancouver from Washington with my mom and dad, and we all really enjoyed our time here. Pegah took such great care of us and made us feel very welcome.
